Today I’m releasing the biggest update yet to my Nice tramway map:

It now shows a railway line which was recently integrated into the urban fare zone. The line is thinner because of its longer intervals.

Line 2 no longer has a callout box! It has an extra indication in its middle. CADAM station is now in a geographically correct position.

Nearly all line 1 station names now face right, and are therefore easier to read. The map is now using my default typeface, Atkinson Hyperlegible.

Ground interchanges are now indicated more clearly.

I simplified the colors a bit, too. Line 2 and the sea’s name now use the coat of arms’ blue, while parks and gardens use line 3’s green.

The map is still the same size. High information density FTW!

The latest additions to my marvellous Nice tramway map include

visual indications of different interchange lengths at Jean Médecin and Garibaldi,
SNCF railway stations highlighted in logo gradient,
Gare Thiers indicated as a TGV station,
bold names for interchange stations in addition to termini.

My latest map for the Nice tramway adds two new details for airport-goers: the free-ride zone and the travel time between the two terminals.

It also now accurately represents Jean Médecin and Garibaldi as ground interchanges.

I updated my Nice tramway map with a better design of the Terminal 2 terminus, more legible bus and train icons, and some other minor details:

This is the nicest map of the Nice tram network ever designed:

The map serves its goal of helping people get around Nice by tram. There is no distracting garbage.

Unlike the current official map, all tram stations are shown on mine:

The most complicated interchange, Grand Arénas, has become legible:

I encourage the city of Nice to adopt my map as the official one.
